Weekend buzz: WordPress 2.0.5 RONAN

What a weekend WordPress just announced releasing WordPress 2.0.5 Ronan for public realease. Which will be the latest upgrade of 2.0 series, which now counts over 1.2 million downloads.

RONAN is now available for download for all users(it is not beta anymore). Traditionally WordPress versions are named after jazz musician, but this time they make it an exception. This version is named after first WP baby Ronan, the new born son of Ryan Boren. Congrats! Ryan, may baby Ronan have a long, healthy life.

Changes in WordPress 2.0.5
Over 50 bug fixes mostly minor bug fixes around feeds, custom fields, and internationalization, but WordPress recommended immediate upgrade for better security and stabilities. You can check out the list of changes in Mark Jaquith’s blog post.
