Wednesday Roundup - April 18, 2007
Boy it’s been a week, hasn’t it? I don’t know about you but I’m feeling a bit muted after the events of this week in Virginia, so let’s keep this lowkey, shall we? I gave Ricardo the day off, and am feeling all too sober, so, away we go:
- Tony Hung writing for The Blog Herald calls on all of us to “better the blogosphere” and knock it off with the knee-jerk reactions.
- Lorelle announces a plan for a blogging world response to the tragedy in Virginia, and reflects on paying tribute to another tragedy in another part of the world.
- Philip Liu takes a reflective pause at I Help You Blog.
- Not blogging, per se, but a necessary support service: Adam at Lifehacker takes on Gmail and tells you how to supercharge it.
- Randa Clay, writing for Performancing.com, tells us how to make our blogs “stickier.”
- Darren Rowse at Problogger takes on Google’s Blogsearch, and tells us - in Google’s own words - how they do that voodoo they do.
- Finally, talk about your niche (nacho?) blogs! I Love Nacho Cheese reaches Typepad’s coveted “featured blog” status. Congrats!
Come back tomorrow for more quality blogging posts, and next Wednesday for the next roundup! If there’s a blog you think I ought to be looking at, drop me a line and let me know, or mention it in the comments, and I’ll check it out.
