Top digger’s monopoly is over
Digg decided to change the math’s of their voting system, to make it more democratic and rigging proof. Usually Digg used to show the links of top diggers (1st 100) as popular postings (dugs). But Digg decided that it’s getting way one sided game, now popular digs will be what the entire Digg community decide. This didn’t make those top Diggers at all happy, don’t understand why?
In blogosphere we love to think Digg is unique, true Web 2.0 standard where voices of crowed dictate quality. But when top diggers dictate popularity of links, it became nothing more than as usual forum/community where top posters dictate what is good & what is bad. One kind Monopolistic situation, you can say. If those top digger really wants to be awarded for their hard works/digging, why not wait in the line like others and provide qualities?
Digg is very potential to blogosphere, the new algorithm will allow the mob decide what is good, true democratic process. Top diggers are just frustrated for loosing the control. if My question is if those top diggers honestly think that they dugged top quality posts, why they have to worry? Unless they were misusing Digg.
Whole blogosphere looks like take this change seriously. They shouldn’t be, everyone has right to be judged, have a chance, So all the top diggers fall in line and let’s see if you guys were really delivering quality links.
Digg, Diggers, Digg vs. Diggers

Aren’t there any paid Diggers?

Sure there is and they are the one in Top 100, that’s the reason Digg took that step. Since most of the top diggers were abusing the digg to knock of other related stories which might have possibility of good content or negative to their submitted content.

:D. No we shouldn’t blogosphere is getting corrupted day by day by slimes like that. And Mainstream Media wants blogosphere to loose credibility. If we follow the same path we will loose credibility.

Oh yeah, I don’t see any of you sidebar’s content and there’s a large space after your single post’s content just right before the list of other 451 blogs.
