PayPerPost acquiring Performancing partially
It seems to be PayPerPost can’t stay out of news headlines. Once again they made it to the front page of news, but in a good
way. Now it’s official that controversial PayPerPost acquiring Performancing partially. Partially because PayPerPost will only acquire select assets of Performancing not the whole. Performancing, which is an online community site for professional bloggers has amassed a community of more than 28,000 professionals since its launch in 2005.
This acquire will give PayPerPost access to Performance Metrics, a free blog analysis service and Performancing Exchange, an online classifieds site for bloggers. So that means Performancing for Firefox blog editor technology and the Performancing Partners ad technology will not be added to PayPerPost rank, I wonder what will be fate of these two. Most probably Performancing will still be operational with these two, because I have noticed a large number of blog running Performancing Partner’s ads. So now PayPerPost is gaining ground in blogosphere. In fact I think they have already recovered from the negative impacts when they announced compulsory Disclosure policy. Now there is no reason why they will be consider controversial. Nick Wilson, co-founder of Performancing says about this acquiring-
By connecting Performancing’s professional services with its own technologies and robust infrastructure, PayPerPost is giving consumer generated media creators a strong and unified source of information..
This is an excellent combination that will continue to serve the needs of bloggers, their sponsors and ultimately their readers.
