Secret service is after blogger

by

Well I used to know now days blog get a lot of attention, but never thought it will get this much attention. The incident of a 14-year-old freshman was taken out of class Wednesday and questioned for about 15 minutes by two Secret Service agents. Offence was posting a picture of the president, scrawled “Kill Bush? across the top and drew a dagger stabbing his outstretched hand. Though she replace that picture after she came to know that’s a federal offence in her myspace site. But replacement didn’t save her. The girl said, the agents threatened her by saying she could be sent to juvenile hall for making the threat. Secret service didn’t make any official statement on this horrible incident.

Apparently the parent’s were not happy, since secret service neither informs them nor waits them to accompany their daughter.

This story proves the importance of considering your thoughts and idea that might because you trouble. Under any circumstances I am not encouraging anyone to abandon their thoughts, ideas, or believes; Blog is a form of exercise your freedom, but keep the fact in mind that what are the consequences, and are you prepare for that.

Few things in this story I can’t drop out from my mind. I don’t understand, why a federal agency questions a 14 year old girl without notifying parents. If drawing a picture against president a crime, than where is the freedom speech he gave everyday? This is a normal common sense that secret service should have considered before threatening, a 14-year old child does not posses any threat. They should know by now there is even domain operating killbush.net, why not go after that insted of kids. Blog is supposed to be freedom of expression, but looks like politics is important than freedom, silly.

Consideration of blog jobs

by

Increasing popularity of blog making it adorable marketing & promotion ground for products & services. Why? Since blog gives interactive community participation, where very voice count. And for promoter, marketer & advertiser this is simply the fastest & friendly means to get to community. As a result a new economy has born i.e. blog-economics (blogonomics) which build upon & around the blogsphere. Ultimately new professions also evolve like professional blogger. Blog job are for blogger who paid to blog.

But there are some confusion, when you blog and get paid for a particular sponsored post, can it be consider as professional blog? I certainly think it can’t be, since professional blogger are same like professional writer, where they are not directed to write content. A professional blogger write his/her content in his/her sole control, the subject matter might be set but the whole content are produce by the blogger. Just like professional journalist they write what they want to write, they get paid to publish their content in employers site. On the other hand paid for blogging a specific content denoted to sponsor is fully controlled by the employer, that can’t be express as professional blogging.

Everyday around the net thousands of Blog jobs pop out, but some are true some just pure spam. So when you look for a blogging job, don’t forget these points to consider— Read the rest of this entry »

Web 2.0 a ghost chase

by

Web 2.0 LogoWeb 2.0 a phrase echoing everyday through out the net. Web 2.0, a phrase introduced by O’Reilly Media in 2004, refers to a hypothetical second-generation of Internet-based services, such as social networking sites (forum, blog etc.), wikis, communication tools, and folksonomies, that let people collaborate and share information online in previously unavailable ways. O’Reilly Media, in collaboration with MediaLive International, used the phrase as a title for a series of conferences and since then it has become a popular (though ill-defined and often criticized to be fuzzy) buzzword amongst certain technical and marketing communities. O’Reilly himself couldn’t give the exact outline of Web 2.0 that is the reason why it’s so fuzzy.

While interested parties continue to debate the definition of a Web 2.0 application, some suggest that a Web 2.0 website may exhibit some basic characteristics. These might include: Read the rest of this entry »

Nobel winning Concept of microfinance for blogsphere

by

This will be an out of the line Blog post, I apologize for that. But is about a great success to concept of microfinance, which is very closely tied with Blog business model. In Blog business model, this Microfinance concept can be adopted, which might as well increase the leverage income of Non-professional bloggers.

Dr. Younus
Microfinance is a term used to refer to the activity of provision of financial services to clients who are excluded from the traditional financial system on account of their lower economic status. These financial services will most commonly take the form of loans and savings, though some microfinance institutions will offer other services such as insurance and payment services. In simple words Microfinance is small loans for those who are not eligible for traditional banking/corporate loan/finance to startup/build up something. Oh! Yea I am proud to say that this Microfinance originated from my motherland Bangladesh. Around 1976 through a pioneering experiment by Dr Muhammad Yunus, who was then a Professor of Economics, this concept was started. And now Dr. Yunus is honored for this years Nobel Peace prize, due to his efforts and concept to lift up non-privilege class. Congratulation!

As I was saying this concept of microfinance can be used in Blog business model, how? Read the rest of this entry »

Google bid $2.3bil for Facebook? Rumors?

by

Google buying Facebook?Well seems to be Goggle is becoming synonym of rumors. This time, acquisition of a community site Facebook. Facebook is considerably doing well social network, but not so hot like YouTube deal. It is highly unlikely but hey what you know, a blogsphere rumor sometimes does come out true. A week old Google-YouTube rumor is the proof. The rumors started where I don’t have a clue, but many Blog sites are flying this rumor already. Not to mention some mainstream media, also publishing this rumor.

Threadwatch says
From a source inside YouTube…
GOOG is looking at Facebook at a 2.3bil price. This could be a total joke on their part, but the source is solid.

Analyzing most of the writing looks like Threadwatch started it. Google’s rival yahoo is already having a talk on purchasing Facebook. Since Google already empties 1.6 billion for YouTube, it will be very much impossible that Google will go for Facebook (Even if) for over $2 billion. Google already own some social networking site, latest entry YouTube. Darnell Clayton of Blog Herald expresses same kind of view too.

But I am sure this will be this week’s hottest rumor in Blogspere. Let’s see where it ends.
