Bloglebrity Judgement

by

C-List Blogger

This morning (well for me it’s afternoon) when I open my Thunderbird , an interesting RSS feed link popped up, “Are You an A-List Bloglebrity?“ Interesting since it’s yet another blog popularity judging tool news, but give you feel like celebrities (well blog celebrity).

Terry Ng of Kineda.com introduced this interesting tools. If you don’t know yet Kineda have quite fame for pop culture, lifestyle & entertainment blogging. Basically Terry’s this tools judge your blogosphere standing through technorati link counts. Terry says:-

Inspired by Dave Sifry’s State of the Blogosphere, the Technorati-Powered widget I’ve created, computes your bloglebrity status based on four influential groupings.

To find out what kind of celebrity you are in blogosphere, just type down your blog URL here, and hit the return key(submit). Though technorati backlink calculator is nothing new in blog tools, TLA used this in their Blog Juice Calculator (along with Alexa ranking, Google and Bloglines link count ) but this tool is kinda fun since it will give you a fancy badge to give you feel like celebrity in blogosphere.

This tool isn’t perfect since it count only the blog URL’s technorati back links, if a A-lister like Darren Rowse start a new blog in a new domain it will show Darren as C-lister or D-lister for quite a while until he get some technorati back links :D. After all this still i think it’s a fun tools, and might give you a encouragement boost to become top celebrity in blogosphere. Nice job Terry.
